How to make your own Chobani yogurt!
My son is loving his yogurt and I can’t help but try to make some on my own. First, yogurt is great source of diary for him as he doesn’t like drinking milk. Second, the yogurt is his dessert treat after finishing his dinner.
I take 2 cups of organic milk from Costco. I place in a ceramic bowl that I’ve already cleaned with hot water to disinfect it with other potential microbes.
I microwave the milk for 1 minute so it is slightly warm. Then I place the milk in an empty Chobani container with about ~4 spoons of leftover yogurts as seeds for more yogurt.
I cover the Chobani container with it’s original foil lid and cap. I placed the container inside my oven (OVEN TEMP. NOT turned on) with the oven light on. I let it sit for ~24 hours or however long you like. It depends on how sour of a yogurt you like. The longer you let it sit, the more sour it will taste!
Have fun and happy yogurt making!
